To get to Cardiff Bay and CBWAC from the motorway, leave the M4 at Junction 33 and follow the A4232 to the Bay exiting at the junction signposted Cardiff Bay Retail Park.

To get to Llanishen Reservoir from the motorway, leave the M4 at Junction 32 (Coryton), head south toward the city centre along the A470 approaching Gabalfa Interchange.

Head north along Caerphilly Road (A469), turning right at the B4562 onto Ty Glas Road and follow Station Road onto Lisvane Road, turning right to Llanishen Reservoir.

Our Sailing Centre in Cardiff Bay is situated at the Environment Building at the North end of Cardiff Bay Barrage. To gain access to the site, you must make your way to the Penarth end of Cardiff Bay Barrage next to The Old Custom House.

Just before you enter the Barrage Car Park, there is a gate on your left hand side. Up to 10 minutes before the course start times, there should be a member of staff on the gate to let you through.

Once allowed to cross, drive straight over the locks and along the Barrage Road until you reach the Environment Building where you can park.

When driving across the Barrage, you must adhere to the following restrictions:

 - Speed limit of 5mph over locks
 - Speed Limit of 20mph over the Barrage
 - Hazard lights must be ON
